Ivy & Noah respects your privacy and personal data. This policy explains how your personal data will be looked after.
Data collection and usage
When you place an order, personal information relevant to that order is collected to process your transaction (name, address, telephone number and email address). The only way this data is received is when your transaction is processed. Your data isn’t received from third parties, nor is it shared with anyone. The lawful basis for collecting this data is contractual, i.e. the information is needed to process the transaction.
When you browse Ivy & Noah, your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address is automatically received in order to provide information about your browser and operating system.
At checkout and when completing the contact form, you will be asked if you want to be contacted regarding new products and offers. By clicking this box you give consent to be contacted via email. The lawful basis for holding this data is consent – and of course you can unsubscribe at any time.
The Ivy & Noah website is not intended for children under the age of 13 years of age. Personal information from children is not knowingly collected. In the event that information from a child has been collected without verification of parental consent, the information will be deleted.
Your personal data will only be used for the purpose for which it is collected, unless it is reasonably considered to be required for another reason that is compatible with the original purpose. If your personal data is needed for an unrelated purpose, you will be notified about the legal basis for which this has been allowed.
Data security
Data is held securely within a computer that is password protected. Data will be printed for transaction / postage purposes. Data will be mostly held electronically but if printed and retained these documents will be held in a securely and locked and retained only for as long as necessary.
Social media
If you contact Ivy & Noah on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, this data stays within and is managed by those respective sites. You will receive a response to direct questions on these sites, but the data is not held by Ivy & Noah.
Disclosure
Your personal information may be disclosed if it is required by law.
Links to other websites
Stripe and Paypal are used to process transactions. Both providers hold and process e-transactions in a secure way, but you may wish to view their own privacy policies to understand more about how they handle data.
Once you leave Ivy & Noah or are directed to a third party provider, you are no longer governed by this privacy policy.
